A Baya Michaelson collaborative album for cybergoth, industrial, neo gothic, darkwave and metal musicians.

Having jumped back into the San Francisco music scene, Baya has found influence in bands such as Our Graves, Suicide Queen, Crash Davidian and Circle of Ruin (just to name a few). Looking to instigate and absorb more, this album concept was conceived.

The concept is to freely share tracks without any strings attached of any kind, meaning each artist maintains full rights of whatever they produce from their version of the project, which might contain music from more than one artist. The only mandatory thing is that featuring artist credits must be presented on any published song wherein their contributions can be heard.

The objective/s is to help manifest new and interesting noise for people's ear holes. I.E. 4th dimensional stuff. To help procreate new listeners by cross referencing featuring artist credits (a current algorithm trend of Streaming services) and to foster a family/community environment to help further facilitate our craft and culture.

A hypothetical exchange would be for one musician or group (Artist-1) to send their files to (Artist-2). Artist-2 would then download said files (broken down to Tracks) and then include their contribution by uploading their broken down files. Hence creating a "Under Pressure" thing. Artist-1 would also have access to all tracks for their manifestation. The process can be repeated in reverse order as well (Artist-2 starts the ball rolling etc).

Time frame. All material should be uploaded by June 14th. After that, there is no time frame for self production/publication.


Simply request your featuring artist credits not be included :) Just as any publication requires featuring artist credits, if requested, anonimity must be granted.
